Hamas said the Alexander would release and the bodies of four hostages that were held there since his 7 October 2023, terror attack if Israel would use the -fire agreement.
“I am much asked how this basketball program has become so competitive in the last eight years,” Pearl said. “But for me I believe it was God’s plan to give us this success, success over what we deserve. To give us this platform. To give us the opportunity to start this conference briefly and to remind us of the world that Edan Alexander is still hostess in Gaza. An American kept hostages and not enough people in this country know his name.”

Pearl was asked why he felt the need to pronounce About the hostages.
“October 7 was the worst day since the Holocaust for the Jewish people, and they say they want to do it over and over again. We now have American hostages in Gaza, and it is unacceptable,” Pearl said. “And President Trump exclaimed and said that if they just free the hostages, the murder would stop. Vrij the hostages and the murder would stop, and that is up to Hamas.”
