Dragons start the World Cup campaign with victory as Bellamy’s undefeated route continues

Wales surpassed Kazakhstan to launch the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign with a victory and maintain Craig Bellamy’s undefeated reign as director.

Dan James and Captain-on-The-Night Ben Davies scored every side of an Askhat Tagybergen sentence before Rabbi Matondo replaced that there was no significant disruption to Cardiff City Stadium.

Dragons have never been hired for the World Cup Tournaments of the World Cup Back-to-Back and the three points here will give Wales a lot of hopes of making a story in a team that also includes Liechtenstein, Northern Macedonia and Belgium.

Dan James opened the rating within 10 minutes, when his release found the net after Kazakhstan made a chaos of risk clearing.

It marked a comfortable night for Bellamy, but things were very simple as guests looked dangerous to spells.

Kazakhstan failed to score all of their League B campaign this season. But just before the half hour sign, it was flat when Tagybergen found the net from the penalty, after Connor Roberts had been punished for a handball.

Go a nervous last minute of half for Wales, but just minutes after the restart of Davies, alternate as a ruler, in the absence of the injured Aaron Ramsey, headed from a corner to restore the host’s lead.

From there, Wales looked largely comfortable and wrapped in a break when Matondo ran to his first higher international goal of sealing the victory.

It gives Bellamy men a platform on which they will build and go to Tuesday’s conflict with Northern Macedonia, which defeated Liechtenstein 3-0, full of confidence.
