“My children are my everything!!! Happy birthday to me!!!” Johnson wrote through Instagram on Sunday, December 15 Miami VicThe star was all smiles as he sat in the middle of a large group photo, surrounded by family, on a staircase decorated for Christmas.
Johnson, who was wearing a broad-brimmed gray hat, scarf and jacket, sat next to his wife, Kelly Phlegerwhom he married in 1999. She looked elegant in a black dress with a frilled white collar. The couple share three children: Grace24, Jasper22 and deacon18.
The actor was joined by the eldest child, son Jesse, from his relationship with the ex Patty D’Arbanvilleand his daughter Dakota Johnsonwho shares with the actress and ex-wife Melanie Griffith. Dakota’s half brother Alexander Bauer, born Griffith, 67, and actor Stephen Bauerwas also present in the picture.

Top left: Jesse Wayne Johnson
Born on December 7, 1982, Jesse is the only child of Johnson and D’Arbanville, who were together for five years before their 1986 split. Jesse is a musician as well as an actor, first following in his father’s footsteps in 2001 when he made his acting debut on Johnson’s hit TV series Nash Bridges. Jessie went on to appear in shows like Hawaii Five-O, Twin Peaks, Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS.
Upper Middle: Deacon Johnson
Johnson and Phleger welcomed Deacon, their third child together, on April 29, 2006, which also happened to be the couple’s seventh wedding anniversary.
“I love children, so there are more good times, more joy and more fun. This time is no less exciting than it was the first time,” Johnson said ok! Magazine in 2006 after Deacon’s birth.
Phleger celebrated the start of her senior year at Deacon High School in 2023 by sharing a photo of her youngest via Instagram at that time. “Astronaut in the making,” she wrote in the caption.
Top right: Alexander Griffith Bauer
Alexander was born to Griffith and Bauer on August 22, 1985. (The couple split in 1989.) Although actors run in the family, Alexander is more private than his parents and siblings, largely staying out of the limelight. Johnson officially adopted Alexander when he was married to Griffith between 1989 and 1996.
Second environment: Dakota Johnson
Don welcomed daughter Dakota with Griffith on October 4, 1989. Since then, she has followed her parents’ footsteps as an actress and is known for her roles in films such as Fifty Shades of Grey and Bad times in El Royal.
Second right: Jasper Breckinridge Johnson
Born on June 6, 2002, Jasper is Don and Phleger’s second child. He played high school basketball in Santa Barbara, California. He told the college sports organization NCSA that his family often attends his games.
“My parents have never missed a game and have supported me every step of the way,” he shared.
Bottom left: Stella del Carmen Banderas
Stella is the daughter of Griffith and the former Antonio, born on September 24, 1996. Her parents finalized their divorce in 2015. after 18 years of marriage.
“We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to end our nearly 20-year marriage in a loving and amicable manner,” the couple said Us Weekly at that time. “We honor and respect each other, our family and friends and the wonderful time we had together.”
Bottom right: Grace Johnson
Grace, born on December 28, 1999, is the eldest daughter and first child of Don and Phleger. The model is close with her siblings, including her sister Dakota – they even attended the Met Gala together in 2019.
