Dodgers White House Visit: Team sets Date to celebrate World Series with Trump


The Los Angeles Dodgers announced on Tuesday that they have established their date to celebrate their World Series title 2024 in the White House with President Donald Trump.

The Dodgers Said they would visit their visit from the White House on April 7, when the team is in the city to hire the Washington Nationals. The team added that players will visit Capitol Hill the next day.

“In accordance with the long -term baseball tradition, President Trump invited the world champion Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024 for the White House when they play in Washington DC on 7 April,” the team said. “The Dodgers are looking forward to visiting the White House and celebrating our title.

“In addition, members of the Dodgers Capitol Hill will visit on 8 April.”

Dodgers -Manager Dave Roberts called it a “great honor” to visit the White House after he suggested that he would not do that in a Los Angeles Times story from 2019.

“It was not a formal conversation we had as a ball club,” he explained, Via ESPN. “It is certainly an enormous honor to get the invitation to the White House. It allows us to celebrate our 2024 championship. To my understanding, every World Series champion gets that honor, so it’s a great honor for all of us.”

Los Angeles is the newest team that celebrates its title victory in the White House. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Ohio State Buckeyes football team have also made obligations to visit Trump and the White House. The Florida Panthers celebrated their Stanley Cup victory last month.
