Chloe Cole wishes her to be told “no” when She started to pass From woman to man at the age of 12. Now she calls on legislators to stop the “abuse” of children who, like them, were led to believe that their decision was reversible.
“If we want this ideological plague in our country and the destruction of our children, their innocence, their bodies, their natural, healthy development in adulthood (to stop), the congress must take action now or very quickly. You will set federal accounts and legislation on this issue to really stop because the state is not enough”.
Cole could not provide the regret that would come four years after her transition started. Doctors encouraged her decision, put her on puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones and performed a double mastectomy, and told her she could walk back.

Four years after De-Transitioning, Cole says the effects of Gender-confirming care Led her to many scars and bleeding. She will never be able to breastfeed her children and she lives with regret.
Now she wished she was told instead, regardless of what drugs or operations she pursued, she would never be a boy.
“(I wish I was told) that I was beautiful the way I was,” she said. “This should never have been an option for me at the age I would try to do this for a patient, especially under the age of 18.”
Cole is now a patient’s advocate for ‘no harm’, a group that opposes gender -confirming care for minors.
The group – including Cole itself – supports legislation introduced by Texas Republican Rep. Then crenshaw would do that Block federal financing For hospitals that perform sexual operations on minors.

For children who think about the same decision she once made, Cole encouraged them to love themselves as they are.
“For every child who has to do with the same feelings, you are beautiful as you are, and God makes no mistakes. There is nothing wrong with your femininity, or with your masculinity or your body. It’s the way you think about it, and you deserve to have real help with it,” she said.

“And for the parents who have to deal with their children. Never confirm this, never in what capacity, because you confirm this because of their favorite name or pronouns, or by the opposite sex, this idea in their thoughts that they have made it wrong and do not deserve a child to believe that it believes about themselves.
“You can help them build their identity in meaningful ways in which they do not undergo a scalpel or injections.”
