Florida Gov. Ron Desantis Wednesday suggested that he will express a veto about an immigration account by the state of Republican sponsored that he said he would weaken the illegal enforcement of immigration.
The threat of a veto comes while Desantis continues to argue with the Republican legislators of the state and says they have accepted a weakened immigration account.
“We must have the strongest law in the nation about the enforcement of immigration. We cannot be weak,” DESANTIS wrote on X. “The bill that the legislative power of Florida has barely adopted last night does not fault our promises to the voters , not to meet the moment, and would even weaken the enforcement of the state of immigration. “
