Former Australian cricket David Warner was appointed as a captain of Karachi Kings for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 after the removal of Shan Masood. Development was confirmed by the franchise through the social media account on Monday (March 24).
David Warner was recently selected by Karachi Kings in their plans in front of the season. The former Australian player, who had not escaped the IPL, will be willing to influence the team and drive from the front, taking his team to Doxa.
David Warner, who recently called his retirement from the international cricket, plays in the championships around the world. The opening stroke was also the captain of Sydney Thunder during the Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25, where he played a huge role as a beat and leader.
Warner drove from the front and took his team to the final before losing Hurricanes. The opening stroke also played for Dubai Capitals at ILT20 2025. He played a vital hand for the team at Knockout as his team went to win the title.
Warner would now be willing to continue the same form in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025. With the additional responsibility of the leader, many will depend on him in the league.
