Muir, 51, headlined the show on Thursday, January 9 World news tonight from Los Angeles, where he reported on the ongoing wildfires ravaging the city. On the show on January 8, Wednesday, Muir had clipped the clip to the back of his protective jacket, which seems to make the fabric fit snugly.

“Prayers for Los Angeles. Going back there today,” he wrote via Instagram a few hours before Thursday’s program.
