The former NASCAR driver, 42, shared a photo of the nasty aftermath four days after the accident.
“Starbucks Americano entry update,” Patrick wrote via her Instagram story. The accompanying photo showed a large, peeling burn mark on the outside of her left thigh.
Patrick said the burn “looks a little better” and noted that she used “silver cream” to help with things.
Despite the improvements, Patrick still maintained an aversion to coffee. “And fuck Starbucks 🤣🤣.”

Patrick also used an arrow to indicate an area closer to her left knee. “It’s also a burn,” she wrote.
The star of the races began to tell the story of his burning on Sunday, December 1, sharing a series of photos showing how the injury has progressed.
“Day 1 coffee burn,” Patrick posted via her Instagram story along with a photo of her burned left thigh. She added, “Starbucks 🖕🏽.”
The first photo shows a distinctive circular scar on Patrick’s thigh as redness begins to form.
“Anyone else think their hot water is hot as hell?” Patrick asked followers.
On the third day after the burn, Patrick posted a photo of the burn area with some noticeable scarring starting to form.
“Day 3,” Patrick captioned the shocking image, which included a meme of Kristen WiigThe character of Target Lady from Saturday Night Live looking on in horror.
She shared one final image of the burn, this one with a large bandage covering the area. “Cute, can delete later,” she wrote.
Patrick will have to nurse her injury from Abu Dhabi, where she flew out on Wednesday to cover the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which begins practice on Friday, December 6.
Since retiring from professional racing in 2018, Patrick has covered the sport for various television outlets. She currently works for Sky Sports in the UK, for whom she was on the field at the F1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas last month.
“Now I’m nocturnal after this schedule 🤪 but we had so much fun!!!!! @maxverstappen1 is now a 4-time champion… In a row!” Patrick posted via Instagram on Nov. 25, hailing the driver Max Verstappenwho secured his fourth consecutive world title with his fourth place in the race.
Patrick made the most of his time in Nevada for the race by jumping out of a plane as part of Sky Sports’ coverage of the event.
“It was a race opener!!! 🛶 🛩️ 🚁 🪂,” she captioned the crazy video via Instagram.
