Court application reveals new details about Trump’s transgender ban


American service members who are transgender or otherwise show gender dysphoria are prohibited for military service, unless they obtain an exemption, according to an internal memo of the Pentagon.

The memo, revealed in a court application On Wednesday evening, the new policy of the Trump administration describes with regard to transgender people. The policy notes that such service members “can be taken eligible for a case of case per case, provided that there is a mandatory government interest.”

“Service members who have a current diagnosis or history of or show symptoms that are consistent are gender dysphoria disqualified by military service,” the memo is.

“Service members who have a history of cross-sex hormone therapy or a history of gender change or genital reconstruction surgery as a treatment for gender dysphoria or in the event of a sex transition are disqualified by military service,” the memo continues.

The memo will continue to determine a number of requirements that a Solider must meet to obtain an exemption.

The soldier must demonstrate 36 consecutive months of ‘stability in the sex of the service member’. The soldier must prove that they have never tried to switch to another sex than their gender. Finally, the soldier must be willing to adhere to all standards related to their gender.

The transgender ban of the Pentagon currently stands for legal challenges. Trump’s Justice Department filed a complaint against the chairman, Ana Reyes, who accused her of potential bias and misconduct.

The letter, addressed to the main judge of the United States Court of Appeal for the District of Columbia Circuit Srinivasan and signed by Procurer -General Pam Bondi’s Staff Chef, Chad Mizelle, concerns the DOJ characterized as ‘Wangersbag’ Donald J. Trump. The case was brought by two LGBTQ groups that the Trump administrations Executive orders that retain transgender individuals to serve in the US Army.

According to the complaint, the transcript reveals “Multiple cases in which the misconduct of Judge Reyes endangered the dignity of the procedure and demonstrated potential bias, thereby pronouncing serious concern about its ability to preside impartial in this issue.” In addition to the appearance of the claimants about the issue of Transgender -service members, Reyes also went on a bizarre anger against graduates from the University of Virginia School of Law.

The letter concludes that “appropriate measures are taken to tackle these violations,” say that this issue justifies a “minimum of this issue, further investigation to determine whether these incidents represent a pattern of misconduct that requires more significant corrective measures”.
