“Ireland must fully implement the EU migration pact by 12 June 2026. So between now and 12 June 2026, different documents must be adopted by both houses of the OireActas and then signed by the president … Who else will stand up against the government and oppose this account? … I will!” McGregor wrote in his message.
“It is the people of Ireland -always! That is a real democracy! .. This is the future of Ireland with me as president. All citizens of Ireland to have a voice and a choice of their future! God bless our people. Voice McGregor and let your voice hear!”
McGregor criticized the Irish government in the White House in an attempt to increase consciousness of ‘the problems that the people of Ireland are confronted with’.

“Our government has long left the voices of the people of Ireland, and it is high time that America became aware of what is going on in Ireland. What is going on in Ireland is a travesty. Our government is a government of zero action and zero responsibility,” he said this week.
In September he teased a potential presidential run in Ireland and called himself the ‘only logical choice’.

McGregor’s visit comes a week after Prime Minister Micheál van Ireland met Trump in the Oval Office.
