Colorado School District complains Trump Admin because of fears for ice rays on campuses


The largest public school district in Colorado Is the first in America to sue the Trump government for fear of ice rays that take place on school grounds.

Denver Public Schools has filed a federal lawsuit against the Ministry of Interior Security and DHS Secretary Kristi mention for her decision to remove a policy indicating schools – and other areas, such as sensitive locations, as a result of which the enforcement of the Immigration is limited.

“DPS is hindered in fulfilling its mission to provide education and life services to students who are abandoning DPS schools for fear of enforcement actions for immigration that occur on DPS school sites,” says the court case, according to the Associated Press.

The school system also argued that the presence has decreased considerably since the decision.

The lawsuit also stated that there were more than 90,000 students in the Denver Public Schools System During the 2023-2024 school year and around 4,000 were immigrants.

Denver has seen a huge population in recent years, because the city predicts that nearly 43,000 people have arrived in the area from the southern border, the lawsuit said.
