Selling Sunset’s Krischel Stause recounts how she was “frozen with fear” during wildfire evacuations in Los Angeles.

the 43-year-old reality star shared during an appearance on Wednesday, January 15 on Sherry that the fires and subsequent evacuation process brought back long-buried memories of watching her home burn as a child.

“When we really had to evacuate, there was a fire in our backyard. It was immediately like, ‘You have to go,'” she explained during the episode. “I think I kind of froze with fear. I had kind of forgotten when I was 12 I actually watched my house burn.

Stause added that the incident was “something you don’t think about. It happened so long ago.”

Selling Sunset fans may come for the million-dollar homes and over-the-top outfits, but they stay for the highs and lows of Chrishell Stause. From 2019 the former soap star — introduced as the sweet, soft-spoken new agent of the Oppenheim Group in the premiere episode — found herself at the center of dramas that increasingly (…)

However, this caused her to “freeze” when it was time to evacuate. Stause credited her wife, an Australian singer G Turning (real name Georgia Claire Flippo) with taking charge during the evacuations, while the reality star struggled due to her previous experience with fires.

“You don’t know how you’re going to react. I think I’d like to think I’m good in an emergency,” Stause continued. “But it kind of showed me that I really needed a little kick in the ass and G was there to keep me focused and so it was just nice to have them.”

Hold further praised the G Flip via Instagram Story last week as she reflected on her traumatic childhood experience.

“A bit of PTSD from the whole experience, which I completely forgot about until last night as I was standing there in shock,” she said. “Luckily I had my partner, who is amazing, who pulled me out of the situation and helped me stay focused.”

While Stause was evacuated, she was lucky not to lose her home in the wildfires ravaging parts of Los Angeles, including the exclusive Pacific Palisades area, Malibu, Santa Monica and the Hollywood Hills. Stause is one of many celebrities caught in the natural disaster. Stars like Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Paris Hilton and Miles Teller are among those whose houses went up in flames and were reduced to rubble.
