Cheltenham Festival – Second Day: Preview, Card and How to Watch

The first day of the Cheltenham Festival began a typically explosive start with impressive wins for Kopek des Bordes and Lossiemouth and a dramatic champion barrier who saw Constitution Hill and State Man crush.

After a brief recovery, the main protagonists return for the second day or style on Wednesday, as it is now known. Previously the day of the ladies has been rebuilt to be more comprehensive.

The race of the day is led by the characteristic race, Queen Chase’s champion in 1600, where Jonbon is the star of the star.

Card

1.20 – Hurdle Turners Novices

A grade 1 competition dominated by Irish trainers with 10 wins since 2014.
This can be 11 with the final demand of Willie Mullins your favorite on 6/4.

2.00 – Chase Brown Advisory Novices’

It is easy to understand why Mullins has dominated the festival in recent years as he also trains the top two horses ranked in self-Ballyburn and Dancing City.

2.40 – Coral Cup

It is again Mullins who will make the favorite in this hunting fight. However, the coral cup is known for its volatility so that it can better examine bets. Jipcot on 25/1 looks good prices.

3.20 – Cross Country Chase

An unusual race that goes through a different course before joining the main piece for the final stages. Mr. Coffey should go well on 15/2.

4.00 – Queen Mother Champion Chase

Step forward Nicky Henderson and Jonbon.

One of the best hunters of his generation, Jonbon rarely runs at Cheltenham and a festival’s victory is the only thing missing from his resume.

If you are looking for value, try quilixios around 28/1.

4.40 – Large annual Chase Handicap

Harry Skelton ride his favorite – unexpected party – on that.

The King of the PRS is a sneaky bet around 9/1.

5.20 – Champion Champion

The only race at the festival to avoid obstacles is a competition for young horses that are not yet ready for jumping.

Weather

There may be first things that will be reduced, but this will be facilitated and will be a dry but cold day.
