Chelsea fans call the Premier League to investigate Boehly about connecting to the ticket resale website


The Trust of Chelsea supporters called on the Premier League to explore the links between the co -owner of the Todd Boehly club and a ticket and resale website.

The Trust has written an open letter to Richard Masters, urging the CEO of the Premier League to examine Boehly’s links with live positions, an American website that allows users outside the United Kingdom to buy and sell tickets to sports events and concerts.

The 51 -year -old American is currently director and investor in live positions, which the Premier League lists as “an unauthorized ticket website”. British fans cannot use the site or others like this because they resell football Tickets in this way in the UK are illegal.

Many Blues fans took on social media to protest the difficulty of members of buying home games at home and away, while a Chelsea Trust (CST) survey, which only 17% of supporters had confidence in the Association to face Boehly’s 10% Boeh. commission.

“Live seats continue to list Premier League tickets for the above nominal value with significant inflated interest rates and our members have continued to indicate that Mr Boehly’s connection with live positions is a violation of confidence and clear conflict of interests,” a CST spokesman said.

“Not only does this undermine the efforts of Chelsea FC, the Premier League and the Metropolitan Police to combat tickets, but the live seats violate Chelsea FC’s political tickets and is explicitly named by the Premier League as a well -known ticket website.

“We believe that now is the time for the Premier League to act quickly and ensure that a major shareholder owner of a Premier League club ceases to facilitate the sale of tickets for significant overnight value.”

Chelsea has previously denounced the ticket holders selling their places for profit.
