From directors to artists, Hollywood lost several stars in 2025.
The news broke on January 4 that Aubrey Plazathe husband of Jeff Brothers, died a day earlier at the age of 47. According to medical records reviewed by Us WeeklyBrothers died by suicide.
“This is an unimaginable tragedy,” the Plaza representative it said in a statement to us on January 6 on behalf of the actress and her family. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
Days after Baena’s death, manager Simon Jones share this RuPaul’s Drag Race star James Lee Williams — better known as Vivienne — died at age 32.
“James was an incredibly loving, warm-hearted and amazing person,” the publicist shared in a statement on Instagram on Jan. 5. “Their family is heartbroken at the loss of their son, brother and uncle. They are so proud of the wonderful things James has accomplished in their lives and careers. We will not release any further details. We ask that James’ family be given the time and privacy they need now to process and grieve.”
The following day, authorities confirmed that the beloved drag queen’s death had no “suspicious circumstances.”
