Ozempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss — with some stars confirming they’ve used the drug while others deny it.
Chelsea Handler adopted during the January 2023 episode the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. that she had unknowingly taken the type 2 diabetes medication traditionally used to improve glycemic control. She explained that her antiaging doctor prescribed Semaglutide, which is another name for Ozempic, but Handler stopped using it after learning more.
“I’m not on it anymore. It’s too irresponsible,” Handler explained. “I’m an irresponsible drug user, but I won’t take diabetes medicine.”
Kyle Richardsmeanwhile, was accused of using the diabetes drug in January 2023 after posting a picture of her showing off her belly in a bathing suit. “I do NOT take Ozempic. I never have,” Richards commented on Page Six’s Instagram at the time.
