“It’s kind of part of the whole DNA of the show now,” Cummings said WWD from his style show earlier this month. “I feel like we’ve kind of subverted the reality TV format a little bit. And so what I wear is an element of each episode. We kind of added another layer to this thing.
He continued: “It was something so new and different to what I had done before. Kind of reminded me of Clue or something. I love board games and I love the camp and theatrics of these games. I could tell from the beginning that they (the production company) wanted to lift something up. It wasn’t just, “Hi, I’m Alan Cummings, and here I am with these people.” They purposely wanted to match the tone of the show.
