Carrie Underwood Realized the crowd on the 100 -year anniversary of the Grand Ole Opy on Wednesday evening.
Underwood entered the stage at the event, entitled OPRY 100: A Live Celebration, in honor of Randy Travis, who welcomed her to become a member of the Grand Ole Opsty 17 years ago in 2008.
Underwood started her tribute to Travis by sharing a story about her childhood. She said her sister had a cassette band from Travis’ and once she had her hands, she ‘never’ gave her back.

Five years later, Travis had a stroke, so he could hardly sing.
Underwood performed on Wednesday evening Travis’ “Three wooden crosses” and “Forever and Ever, Amen.”
At the end of ‘Forever and Ever, Amen’, Underwood walked to Travis in the crowd and gave him the microphone to sing the closure, ‘Amen’, who brought the crowd to tears.
“Randy Travis everyone.”
“Randy Travis everyone,” Underwood said, before hugging the country. The crowd immediately stood up and gave Underwood and Travis a standing ovation.
Fans went to social media to weigh the moving performance.
“I don’t cry,” wrote a user on X, Previously known as Twitter, while he records a clip of the moment of Underwood and Travis.

A third added“Wow. Tears everywhere while Randy Travis closes with Carrie Underwood.”
The Grand Ole Opry shared a message about Travis that caused the family in the family 17 years ago.
“We will never forget the moment that Randy Carrie has invited to the family,” wrote the account, including a photo from 2008.
Underwood was announced after winning “American Idol” in 2005. Her debut album “Some Hearts” was released that same year and included the hit “Before He Cheats.”
Land Superstar Blake Shelton Hosted the event, entitled the “ORTY 100: A Live Celebration” on March 19, broadcast on NBC.

The official 100 -year anniversary of the Grand Ole Opy is in November and the Country Music House will celebrate all year round.

Underwood attended the country music ceremony in a lush black dress with one shoulder. The bottom of the dress was pure and had a dramatic train.

The country music legend accessorized her look with a few statement earrings.
The Country music ceremony also included performances by Jelly Roll, Reba MCTIRE, Post Malone, Trace Adkins, Lainey Wilson and Kelsea Ballerini.
