As Americans continue to grapple with the outcome of the 2024 election, “Full House” actress Candace Cameron Bure is leaning on her faith in God and encouraging others to approach policy issues from a “biblical perspective.”
In an exclusive interview with Fox News digitalCameron Bure further explained what it means to “vote like Jesus” – a personal motto she shared on social media ahead of the election that helped her determine which way she should cast her vote on November 5 this year.

‘Of course you have two candidates who are really viable options that you can write in. But God will not be surprised either way, it doesn’t matter who wins. So let God’s will be done. That’s what I mean by it,” she said.

“I look at the issues from a Biblical perspective.”
The actress took to social media to encourage others to “look at the policies” instead of “picking apart” the character of each candidate.
“It is our duty as Americans to vote,” she wrote. “And you know, there will never be two perfect candidates. And everyone has flaws, not just our presidential candidates, but each of us.”
The actress revealed she turns to the Bible to navigate policy issues, saying she turns to the Bible to ‘break it down’.
“I look at the issues from a Biblical perspective. That’s why I said ‘vote like Jesus,’” Cameron Bure added.

According to an opinion poll Taken earlier this year, as many as eight in ten Americans believe the influence of religion in America is declining.
That means as many as 80 percent of American adults think religion is losing its influence on American life, according to the 2024 Pew Research Center. research discovered.
Another Pew poll, released a month ago, suggested that while Trump voters don’t necessarily believe he is very religious, they do believe he fights for religious communities.

Fox News Digital asked the “Full House” star an important question, asking if the results — which included Donald Trump’s victory in the White House and Republicans taking full control of Congress — were “proof” that faith is making a comeback.
“Yes. I think everyone is blown away by this election. It was just a red line and more shocking than many people realized,” she said.

“I think a lot of people have had a hard time over the last four years trying to do some shopping. So there are a lot of things. I mean, I could move on from it,” she added. “I’ve put my political views aside in a softer way since co-hosting ‘The View.’
