The housemates, only identified in judicial documents such as DM and BF, seem to have been awake and discuss the possibility of a masked intruder about five minutes after the attack.

DM has previously identified as the only eyewitness who saw the intruder-a masked man with “bushy eyebrows”-in the house with six bedrooms on King Road. Based on her statements to the police and audio from a security camera next door, it is assumed that the attacker left the house shortly after 4:17 am on November 13, 2022.

The attack left four people to death – Madison21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20.

The submission reveals SMS messages that DM and BF have exchanged between 4:22 and 4:24, as well as texts that was sent for sunrise and again around 10:20 am prior to the texts to some of the victims, tried to call DM BF and three of the victims. None of her phone calls was answered.

“Nobody answers,” DM wrote to BF, according to the submission. “I am confused.”

“Kaylee,” DM wrote in a different text. “What’s going on?”

DM also seemed to refer to the intruder she later told that she came across when she met when she peered out of her bedroom door. She almost referred to something “like a ski mask.”

BF urged her to “run” down. According to other court applications released this week, DM spent the night in the room of BF and a public person called 911 from BF’s telephone around noon the next day.

At 10:23 am both dm and Goncalves. “Pls answer,” she wrote. “Are you up?” She then called her father around 11:40 am

Officers of Justice ask the court to allow them to introduce the texts as proof.
