Jose Ibarra’s brother, a 26-year-old Venezuelan illegal immigrant who was convicted of murdering the 22-year-old nurse student Laken Riley 22 February 2024, while on the University of Georgia Campuswas sentenced to imprisonment and deportation after he was guilty of having a fake green card during the murder investigation.
Diego “GoCho” Ibarra, 29, from Venezuela, was sentenced to four years behind bars on Wednesday after he had been guilty of two counts of possession of a fraudulent document July 15, 2024. The punishment was above the federal conviction directive range and he is not eligible for Parole.

Argenis Ibarra and Flores-Bello admitted that they had fake-green cards under different names 23 February 2024 and argued guilty of possession of a fraudulent document in December 2024. However, they stayed in the United States.
In Wednesday’s ruling, the American district judge Tilman E. ordered Diego Ibarra to be placed in it American immigration and customs enforcement (Ice) Guardianship at the end of his federal imprisonment and ordered Argenis Ibarra and Flores-Bello to be immediately placed in the detention.
According to judicial documents and statements, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) was informed of the illegal presence of Diego Ibarra in the US 23 February 2024, during the Riley Murder Investigation Laaken.

At the time, an Athens-Clarke County Police Department (ACCPD) officer approached Jose Ibarra Diego Ibarra because he matched the description of his brother.
Diego Ibarra gave the ACCPD officer a fake -green card when he was asked for identification and was taken into custody.
Researchers later discovered his journey to the US involved several illegal border crossingsAnd once in the US, his criminal activity continued.
He was sent back for the first time to Mexico on April 3, 2023, after he was illegally caught on the US near Eagle Pass, Texas, according to a statement from the office of the American lawyers for the Midden -District of Georgia.

Less than a month later, on April 30, 2023, he tried to break into the country again with four other Venezuelan men to cross the border near Ysleta Station in El Paso, Texas.
In a fight with agents from the Border Patrol (USBP) of the United States, Diego Ibarra grabbed the service radio of an agent before trying to bite the agent. The meeting was split by members of the National Guard.
He was taken to a hospital after complaining about chest pain and pain in his back and leg, which he attributed to the scaling and falling out of the border fence during his illegal crossing.
After he had admitted his injuries, he did not come from the fight with agents, he claimed asylum and “fear of returning” to Venezuela.

ACCPD also responded to a domestic incident with Diego Ibarra and his girlfriend 26 September 2023.
While he was imprisoned in the Deges County detention center for the fake documents found during the Riley Murder Investigation, Diego Ibarra caused “serious water damage” when he broke a prison block sprinkler system, according to the statement.
On June 25, 2024, prison guards Ibarra with two improvised weapons, including a sharpened sprinkler head with an improvised grip and a pen wrapped in Saran Wrap.

President Donald Trump called on the Wartime Alien Enemies Act of 1798 on Saturday to focus on TDA, designated as a foreign terrorist organization on 20 February by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
While Argenis Ibarra and the cross-border background of Flores-Bello are less long than Diego Ibarras, researchers discovered that Argenis Ibarra also entered the US illegally several times.
Argenis Ibarra illegally went the US within 3 April 2023, near Eagle Pass, Texas, and the USBP brought it back to Mexico.
Less than a month later, on April 30, 2023, the USBP arrested it again near El Paso, Texas, and took him to an ice processing center in El Paso, according to the statement. He was released on May 4, 2023, “because the processing center missed space.”

Likewise, Flores-Bello was arrested after illegal coming from the country 3 May 2023, brought to an ice processing center in El Paso and released on 5 May 2023, “because the processing center was missing,” according to the statement.
She gave a home address in New York and was planned for a hearing of the Immigrationhof on October 18, 2023, but in December 2023 took a humanitarian flight to Atlanta, Georgia, with Jose Ibarra, which she met in New York.

She settled in Athens and lived with the Ibarra brothers until Laken Riley was murdered.
Jose Ibarra was convicted on November 20, 2024 for murder of malice, three counts of crime and abuse with the intention, including charges, in the Supreme Court of Athens-Clarke County.
He is a life sentence.
