The Premier League saw four games that played in front of the two evening lighting on Saturday.
At the early start, Nottingham Forest took a huge step towards the Champions League football, hitting Manchester City in front of a crowded city.
A strike from the second half by Callum Hudson-Ooii was enough to get the three points and lift the difficult trees in third place, over their opponents and with a five-point buffer at Chelsea in the fifth.
At Anfield, Liverpool moved 16 points to the top of the table, come from behind to beat Southampton.
Smallbone will be capitalized in a defensive mixture between Alisson and Virgil van Dijk to give the Saints a shock before halftime.
But the Reds came out in the second half, and a quick double between Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah, but the domestic side.
Salah then grabbed his second from a penalty shoot -out, marking the 27th goal of the campaign and sealing the victory.

Brighton 2-1 Fulham
Brighton secured a 2-1 dramatic victory over Fulham at Amex Stadium, with Joao Pedro’s 98th minute sentence proveing the decisive moment.
Visitors took the lead in the first half via Raul Jimenez, who ended after a brilliant route and cross from Alex Iwobi.
However, Fulham’s advantage was short -lived, as Brighton responded just minutes later.
Yasin Ayari gave a welcoming free kick to the box, allowing Jan Paul Van Hecke to head home for the first goal for the club and level the score at 1-1.
Brighton dominated the second half, relentlessly pushing for a winner. They created a lot of chances, including a forbidden target for Simon Adingra after a Var review of the offside, and saw Danny Welbeck waste a free header from a Joao Pedro cross.
As the game entered the break time, Brighton’s obsession attributed. The replacement Harrison Reed popped Pedro in the penalty shoot -out in the last moments, leaving the referee without hesitation to show on the spot.
Pedro returned and confidently sent his sentence to Bernd Leno, securing all three points for the Seagulls with almost the last kick of the match.

Crystal Palace 1-0 Ipswich
Crystal Palace secured Premier League’s third consecutive victory with a tough 1-0 battle against Ipswich in Selhurst Park.
Ismaila Sarr’s late strike proved the difference in a fun conflict that saw many odds on both ends.
The first semester was a live affair, with both sides threatening to break the deadlock. The palace should have moved within two minutes, when Adam Wharton’s exact passage put Eddie Nketiah in the goal, but Ipswich Josh Palmer’s goalkeeper made an excellent savings.
Ipswich responded immediately as Jaden Philogene forced Dean Henderson in a sharp posture.
End -to -end action continued as Eberechi Eze went near, only to refuse an excellent block by Jacob Greaves.
Visitors had further opportunities, with Liam Delap and Philogene going close, but no side could find the net before halftime.
The second semester began with almost a loss by EZE, whose shooting diversion hit the position.
Ipswich then created several of their own chances, with Delap and Philogene once again testing Henderson. At the other end, Sarr and Matheus Munoz forced Palmer to impressive savings as the palace pushed for the discovery.
The decisive moment reached the 82nd minute. Wharton found Daichi Kamada on the edge of the box and after a diversion from Kalvin Phillips, the ball kindly fell to Sarr, who produced a pleasant chip over Palmer to give the palace the lead.
This result moves the palace to 11th, having won nine of the last 11 matches in all matches.
Meanwhile, Ipswich’s matches continue as they remain without a league win in 2025 and remain in 18th place, five points from security.
