News broke earlier this week that Fox and MGK had called it quits at the end of November. That same month, the actress announced that she was pregnant and expecting a rainbow baby with MGK. (Fox previously shared that she suffered a miscarriage.)
Green shared that it was “unfortunate” that Fox and MGK went through a split during her pregnancy.
“I’m heartbroken about it,” he said. “Because I know she was so excited and the kids are so excited about life and change and all that.
Green added that the ordeal was a “tragic situation” and that he “wouldn’t wish this on anyone.”
“I hope the best outcome that could happen will happen for her, for the baby and for our children,” he said.
Green and his fiancee Sharna Burgess have expressed their excitement on Fox’s pregnancy news. Burgess, who shares 2-year-old son Zane with Green, reposted Foxx’s baby announcement on social media with a few words of support.
“Welcome little one, we are all so excited to meet you,” he said Dancing with the stars alum, 39, wrote via her Instagram Stories in November. “Congratulations mom.”
Although Fox’s pregnancy is happy news, New girl alum and MGK had their fair share of ups and downs after the public announcement.
