Giselle Hernandez/BravoBravo followed up on the claims that James Kennedy was an abuser of women a year ago his arrest for domestic violence, Us Weekly can confirm.
“There was an investigation but they found nothing,” said a source close to the situation us. “It was inconclusive, so nothing happened.”
On Wednesday, December 18 Page six was the first to report that Bravo had previously investigated an allegation that Kennedy, 32, was an abuser of women. (us has reached out to Bravo for comment.)
News broke Dec. 12 that Kennedy had been arrested for felony domestic violence two days earlier after an alleged altercation with an unidentified woman. Ann an eyewitness called the police after allegedly seeing Kennedy grab her arm.
In police records from the night of James Kennedy’s arrest, he is accused of throwing an unidentified woman to the ground. A woman reportedly told the Burbank Police Department that “her boyfriend picked her up and threw her to the ground,” according to documents reviewed by multiple outlets, including People. A separate source said us that the arrest was based on a “complete misunderstanding.” Kennedy was “argue” with your girlfriend, Ali Luberwhen “a neighbor was outside and heard them fighting and called the police.”

Todd Williamson/BravoKennedy lawyers said in a statement to us one day after news of the arrest became public.
“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations made by the Burbank Police Department against James,” the Dec. 13 statement said. “We understand there were no injuries and we hope that after a careful review, city attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”
In the days after the incident, Lewber’s parents “came into town and got an Airbnb and took her there,” a third source said usnoting that the couple “we have some distance, but it’s not over.”
