Chelsea put a dominant screen as they traveled to a 4-0 win over Southampton at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
The Enzo Maresca side controls the game from start to finish, with goals by Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill and Marc Cucurella sealing an emphatic victory.
The game began with Chelsea enjoying early occupation spells as they seek to break the defensive establishment of Southampton.
Despite the promising moments for visitors, including an effort by Paul Onuachu that was comfortably treated by Byfilip Jorgensen, it was the Blues who seemed more threatening.
The discovery reached the 24th minute when the corner of Enzo Fernandez ran from Tosin Adarabioyo, finding nkunku in the back. The Frenchman did not make any mistake, shaking home closely to make it 1-0.
Chelsea’s aggressive momentum continued and just 12 minutes later, Nkunku turned into the provider. It arrived through the middle section before slipping a perfectly weighted passage to Neto, which fueled a wild shot beyond Aaron Ramsdale in the nearby post to double the lead.
As the half approached, Southampton struggled to face the moves attacking Chelsea’s fluids. Their defensive weaknesses were further exposed to the 43rd minute, when Neto hit a dangerous free kick, which Levi Colwill met with a thunderous header to put Chelsea 3-0 before the break.

Southampton, who had managed just 0.21 expected targets (XG) in the first half, looked out of ideas and was shocked by the tension of Chelsea.
Despite the comfortable lead, Chelsea showed no sign of complacency after the reboot. Nkunku, Palmer and Fernandez came close to expanding the sheep in the minutes of the second half, but Ramsdale produced a series of excellent savings to keep the scoreline even more annoying.
The director of Southampton Ivan Juric made a series of replacements in an attempt to introduce energy on his side, introducing Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Ryan Manning and Tyler Dibling.
However, the Saints struggled to create significant chances, failing to record a single shot in the goal in the second half.
Chelsea, meanwhile, continued to dominate the Occupation and explore the openings. The fourth goal finally reached the 78th minute when a Southampton corner was executed badly, allowing Chelsea to offset.
Malo Gusto fell under the right side and found Tyrique George in the box, who cleverly ran Cucurella. The Spanish full back showed calm, shifting the ball to its left foot before placing it in the lower corner to complete the route.
Cole Palmer, who had an influence throughout, was unfortunate not to get on the match sheet. His free kick at the time of stopping was extremely saved by Ramsdale, covering a frustrating night ahead of the goals for the young forward.
