Beyonce is delaying its long-awaited announcement due to Wildfires in Los Angeles.

“The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around the Los Angeles area,” the pop superstar, 43, shared via Instagram on Monday, January 13.

She continued: “I continue to pray for healing and restoration for families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.”

BeyoncĂ© made a big announcement – which fans speculated could be anything from a new tour to a new album – for January 14 after her NFL Gameday Christmas Halftime Show in Houston, Texas. The star songs performed from her Cowboy Carter album for the first time during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game on December 25th.

The singer’s family has been affected by wildfires in the Los Angeles area that have devastated areas such as Pacific Palisades and the Hollywood Hills. BeyoncĂ©’s mother Tina Knowlesshared via Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 9, that she lost her Malibu bungalow in the fires. “It was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred happy place,” Tina, 71, revealed.

“God bless all the brave men and women in our fire service who risked their lives in dangerous conditions,” Tina continued. “We (thank) you for your dedication and bravery and for saving so many lives. It could have been much worse without the dedication of disaster workers and first responders. I feel so bad for the people who lost the five family members. My deepest prayers are with you!!!!!”

She added: “For the people who have lost their homes and belongings, I can only imagine how it feels to lose property and everything you’ve worked so hard and sacrificed so much to own! My heart and deepest prayers go out to you all ❤️I can’t imagine the pain, suffering and fear you are enduring. I am praying hard for our beautiful city of Los Angeles!! But we are resilient and we will recover!”

On Sunday, January 12 BeyoncĂ©’s BeyGood Foundation has announced a new Los Angeles fire relief fund, to which the nonprofit has pledged $2.5 million.

“Los Angeles, we are with you. 🫶🏽,” BeyGood shared in a message on Instagram.
