Chelsea are always busy when the transfer window comes around, and this January it looks like Ben Chilwell will be moving to Italian giants Juventus.

According to CaughtOffside sources familiar with Chelsea’s transfer plans this winter, Juve have stepped up their efforts to sign Renato Vega and will then follow that up with a late-window move for England international Chilwell.

Ben Chilwell could move to Juventus

Everton are also looking at Chilwelland Leicester want to re-sign the left-back since it appears to have absolutely no future in West London.

Indeed, so far in the 2024/25 campaign, he has managed just one 45-minute appearance – in the Carabao Cup – per transfer market.

Sources say that, somewhat unsurprisingly, personal terms are not expected to be a problem for Chilwell, who is understood to be keen to end his Chelsea hell as soon as possible.

He has been transfer-listed for £25m, but the Blues could accept up to £20m from interested parties.

Chelsea offered the 26-year-old in a surprise deal

Andrea Cambiaso’s transfer is expected in the coming days from the Bianconeri and that will pave the way for Thiago Motta to quickly ensure he has a suitably experienced replacement to step in straight away.

Great interest in Ben Chilwell

There is also significant interest elsewhere, with sources also suggesting that Borussia Dortmund, Marseille, Napoli, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Stuttgart, Bournemouth and AC Milan are all keeping a close eye on him at the moment.

If there’s any chance a move to Turin won’t happen for Chilwell, it’s clear he won’t be short of offers this month.

While he may be a bit rusty from his time on the sidelines, the full-back’s diligence in keeping as fit as possible in training will serve him well in Serie A, a league reputed to be much slower than the ‘100 miles per hour’ Premier League.
