Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted driving together in LA

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted spending some quality time together over the weekend after enjoying Thanksgiving as a family.

Affleck, 52, was photographed in the driver’s seat of a car with Garner, 52, bouncing on the passenger side after grabbing bagels on Saturday, Dec. 7. The exes reportedly had breakfast together and then went for a drive in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood before heading to Affleck’s home.

The former couple, who share children Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, we recently spent Thanksgiving as a familyteaming up to help feed the homeless community with the charity Midnight Mission on November 28. Their children joined them in their efforts to give back to the less fortunate.

Affleck and Garner have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship since their divorce nearly a decade ago. The two were married from 2005 to 2015 before finalizing their divorce in 2018. Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Lopez in 2022, but the couple split earlier this year. Garner is dating a businessman John Miller from 2018

In 2020, Affleck reflected on his divorce from Garner, calling it “the biggest regret of my life” in an interview with New York Times. “Shame is really toxic,” he said at the time. “There is no positive by-product of shame. It just suffocates in a toxic, disgusting feeling of low self-esteem and self-loathing.”

He added: “I’ve definitely made mistakes. I’ve certainly done things I regret. But you have to pick yourself up, learn from it, learn some more, try to move on.”

Garner has been a pillar of support for her ex-husband through some tumultuous times, including his recent divorce from Lopez, 55.

“Ben and Jennifer are friends and have a great co-parenting relationship,” a source exclusively said Us Weekly in August. The couple has a “mutual understanding that their children come first,” the insider noted, adding that the exes “also get along very well.”

“There is a deep level of trust and respect between them,” the source continued. “(Affleck) has trusted Jen in a lot of ways…especially lately when things haven’t been so great with J.Lo in recent months.”

During an interview on Molly Sims and Emese Gormleyis Lipstick on the Edge Podcast. last month, Garner shared some insightful advice her mother, Pat, gave her. One anecdote stood out: “Don’t marry a man thinking you can change him.”

In a cocky, self-aware way, a laughing Garner declared that she was “really going to work on it.”
