Barcelona utilizes the loss of Real Madrid as the ruins shared in Milan derby


While many had their eyes stuck to Arsenal 5-1 by Manchester City on Sunday, there were some watching the other big games in Europe.

After a few great results that saw Real Madrid slip on Lalagka and Bayern Munich continuing the Bundesliga charge on Saturday, it was until some other giants to try to benefit from the results.

Barcelona has hosted Deportivo who want to take advantage of their opponents’ points in Espanyol.

While the two Milan clubs met at San Siro for the last dose of Derby – with a Kyle Walker debut.

Barcelona 1-0 Deportivo

Barcelona secured a 1-0 win over Deportivo at Montjuic, closing the gap on La Liga leaders Real Madrid in four.

Despite the incredible appearance, Blaugrana managed to grind the victory, thanks to Robert Lewandowski’s strike in the middle of the second half.

The first semester was a lukewarm affair, with Barcelona struggling to find their pace.

Their only remarkable effort came from Pedri, whose meager shot was easily treated by Owono.

DEPORTIVO meanwhile, in the meantime, defended well, but failed to threaten the break, completing half without capturing a single shot on the target.

The efforts by Yann Bisseck, Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries hit all the wood, while Maignan made several critical savings.
