Barcelona scores seven as both Milan teams win


Far from the chaos of Sunday’s endless action in England, Europe’s top championship made some of its own holidays.

After Real Madrid’s victory on Saturday, Barcelona was trying to keep up with Laliga leaders against Valencia.

Otherwise, both Milan teams were in action.

Milan faced Parma in San Siro, while Inter traveled to Lecce.

Barcelona 7-1 Valencia

Barcelona beat Valencia 7-1 in a spectacular clash in La Liga. The hosts were ahead of just 145 seconds, with Frenkie de Jong closing his home after a wonderful cross from Lamine Yamal. Ferran Torres doubled the advantage a few moments later, turning Alex Balde’s cross with a brilliant finish.

Barcelona’s relentless pressure drove Rafinia around the goalkeeper to make it 3-0 before Fermin Lopez adds a stunning quarter with a loud blow to the top corner. The first half ended shortly before the break, when Fermin rushed to a rebound to achieve his second, leaving Valencia shocked and lost 5-0 in the interim.

Valencia won the second half for a while, as Hugo Douro fired one with a sharp finish from Diego Lopes’ assist. However, Barcelona quickly erased any hope of returning. The alternate Robert Levadovsky achieved the 6th, before a Cesar Tarega goal sealed the emphatic victory.

Milan 3-2 Parma

Milan secured a fascinating 3-2 victory over Parma in a dramatic Serie A clash in San Siro.

The guests were ahead early in the 24th minute, when Mateo Kanelieri made a stunning effort in the lower corner after taking advantage of a defensive slip of Theo Hernandez. Milan thought she had been tied a few minutes later via Alvaro Morata, but the goal was excluded for offside.

The exchange rate was restored in the 37th minute after Strachinia Pavlovic’s foul in the big area by Parma goalkeeper, Tsitzioke Suzuki. Christian Pulisic turned the penalty shoot -out with a sure blow to the lower corner.

The second half remained tense until the 80th minute, when Enrico Del Pratto took advantage of a rebound to put Parma back. However, Milan’s perseverance has been fruitful to delays. Titzani Riders achieved a precise pass of Yuns Musa to score the equalizer goal in the 92nd minute.

A few minutes later, Samuel Chukwueze sealed the return with Pavlovic’s head beyond Suzuki to win the victory. Niki raises Milan to seventh place, while Parma falls to the 16th.

Lecce 0-4 Inter

Inter scored imposing to secure a 4-0 win over Lecce, reducing the difference from the champion to Serie A, Napoli.

Davide Frarsei opened the scoring in the sixth minute, with volley with a volley after a dazzling solo solo and assists Marcus Turam.
