Arsenal’s director Mikel Arteta says his side can stay in the Premier League title if they do their job – starting with West Ham on Saturday.
Liverpool remains a clear favorite, driving the road by eight points, but now they have played a game more than the Gunners and have fallen against Everton and Aston Villa.
On Sunday they play Manchester City and Arteta knows that the image could change quickly.
He said: “We have to do our job. It will be tough tomorrow.
Back home soon ❤️

“If we do this we will look at this game on Sunday between Liverpool and Manchester City.
“There are 13 games to go, there is a lot to play. We must be there. We are very experienced in the Premier League and we know how difficult each opponent is.”
Arsenal ended as runners until the city for the last two seasons, losing the title by two points in 2024 and five points last year.
Whether they can maintain a challenge this year may depend on finding a forward choice – midfielder Mikel Merino came off the bench to score twice on Leicester last weekend, but Arteta would not imply if Spain international will appear again in the attack.
He said: “No, I haven’t talked to him or to other players. I want the players when they are on this stadium by taking the initiative.
“We have trained in recent weeks with different players in front. He (Merino) was one of them, and with other players.”
