Arsenal confirms that Germany forward is fighting to be appropriate for the next season

Arsenal has confirmed that Kai Havertz will undergo an injury surgery and faces a battle to be suitable for the start of the next season.

International Germany suffered an injury to Gunners’ breaks in the middle of the season in Dubai and will go under the knife in the coming days.

His absence for the rest of this campaign is an important blow to Arsenal, who are already without a multitude of attack options.

The statement read: “We can confirm that Kai Havertz has suffered injury during a training in Dubai last week.

“Subsequent evaluations and specialized reviews have confirmed that the injury would require surgery, which will take place in the coming days. Shortly after surgery, Kai will begin the recovery and rehabilitation program, which is expected to be extended before the season for the next season.

“Everyone in the club is fully focused on Kai’s support to ensure that they are back in the full gym as soon as possible.”

Arsenal’s main aggressive threat

Havertz has played the role of Arsenal’s main striker for much of the season, though he soon fell into the middle section when Gabriel Jesus was preferred in the attack.

However, with the Brazilian who suffered an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament last month, Havertz again developed higher on the stadium with mixed results.

Germany has scored 15 goals and added five assists to 34 appearances in all competitions this season, but has also lost 15 high chances in the Premier League, the third more alongside Nicolas Jackson of Chelsea and behind Erling Haaland (only Erling Haaland ( 18) and Aston of Manchester City (18) and Aston Ollie Watkins of Villa (19).

Watkins was the subject of an offer of £ 60m from Arsenal to the end of the transfer window, but Villa chose to keep international England and sell Jhon Duran on the Saudi Arabian side al-Nassr.

Another blow for the Gunners

Arsenal has suffered from injuries to aggressive areas throughout the season.

England Bukayo Saka has returned to Dubai training, but is not expected to play until March, while Gabriel Martinelli is also out for a month with a hamstring problem.

Arsenal is the second in the Premier League, seven points behind Liverpool leaders and goes to Leicester City on Saturday.
