I get so many phone calls during my national radio show and DMS from people who think they are are stalked. Sometimes the person sees signs that are not there. Other times it is clear that something is wrong. It is not surprising, given how easy it is for technology to view someone’s movements.

The good news is that you have me, and I know that the exact settings crawl that use to spy on. Grab your phone and let’s dive into it.
Does your phone listen to everything you say? It is complicated
Start here, Apple -People
Check first Share my location. You will see a list of people who can follow every movement.
- Go to Institutions > Privacy and security > Location services > Share my location.

On You, Android Crew
The easiest way for someone to spy on is to log in to your Google account. This shows them your ticket history, location, searches and everything else. Yeesh.
- In your Google accountgo to Security (left). Scroll to Your devices and select Manage all devices. Click on one to see the info. You can Report At the bottom.
Not recognizing something? Register and change your password. Do this in case.

It is also worth checking Google Maps to see if your location has been shared in this way.
- Open Cards, Tap you Profile (top right) and hitting Share location.
- If someone you should not follow, tap their icon and press Stop.
- On that map, hit those three points at the top right and select Remove.

Almost 10% of Americans are stalked via GPS, such as an Apple airtag or another small gadget. If you are not, it is someone you know.

On iPhone:
- Open Institutions > Privacy and security > Location services. From there, switch Location services And Find my iPhone. Then go to System services and switch on Important locations.
- Then go to Institutions > Bluetooth and switch on Bluetooth.
On Android:
- Open Institutions > Location and switch on Use location” WiFi scanning or Bluetooth scanning. Enable Bluetooth by going to Institutions > Bluetooth and switch on Bluetooth.
