Apple, 20, recently made her high society debut at Le Bal de Débutantes, dancing with her father at the event, but it was a TikTok video that caused a stir on social media. In a clip shares the French magazine Paris matchApple and the other debutante Eleanor Lopen de Montmor were spotted taking pictures, with Apple posing confidently for the camera while standing behind Loppin de Montmort. This sparked a wave of backlash on social media, including labeling Apple a “mean girl”.
Speaking of people earlier this month, however, Lopen de Montmor responded to the claims and instead had only good words for Apple. “(Apple’s) really the nicest girl! She really doesn’t deserve an ounce of what she’s getting,” Lopen de Montmor told the publication. “She was the nicest girl ever, not only to me, but to all the girls!”
