American peace talks with Ukraine, Russia are underway in Saudi Arabia


Peace talks between us and Russian delegations aimed at ending the War in Ukraine are on Monday in Saudi Arabia, according to media reports.

The discussions come afterwards Ukrainian President Volodyymyr Zenskyy said that a delegation from his country had a “pretty useful” meeting with an American team in Riyadh on Sunday.

“Our team works in a fully constructive way, and the discussion is very useful. The work of delegations continues. But what we are now also discussing with our partners, Putin must be forced to give a real order to stop the strikes – because the one who brought this war must be the one who has to take it back,” said Zelennaryy.

The American delegation meeting with the Russians on Monday is led by Andrew Peek, a senior director at the White House National Security Council, and Michael Anton, the director of the policy planning personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Reuters reported. It added that the Russians are represented by Grigory Karasin, the leader of the Russian Hogerhuis of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament, and Sergei Beseda, an adviser to the director of the Federal Security Service of Russia.

The delegations will concentrate on a ceasefires in the Black Sea, according to a report from the State State Terrier Tass News Agency, With reference to the American national security adviser Mike Waltz. In the next phase of the conversations, the two parties will “discuss issues related to the verification of the cessation -the fires, the peace enforcement of contingent, as well as the ownership of areas.”

The special envoy Steve Witkoff by President Donald Trump told Fox News that he does not believe that Russian President Vladimir wants to invade Europe.

“Now I have been asked my opinion about what the motives of President Putin are on a larger scale. And I just said that I just don’t see that he wants to take all of Europe,” Witkoff said during a appearance on “Fox News Sunday.”
