Maland, a native and air force veteran of Minnesota, worked as a border patrol agent at the Newport Station of the American customs and border protection. He spent nine years in the army and 15 worked for the federal government.
It is still unclear what members of the group brought to Vermont.
The German National Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt and University of Washington Student Teresa “Milo” Consuelo Youngblut would have shot Maland near the border between Canada Vermont on January 20, during a traffic stop.
