Former Manchester United striker and Scotland Alan Brazil triggered the dispute this morning, claiming that people around the world are not being disturbed by women’s football.
The host Talksport made the comments when he responded to co-presenters Shebahn Aherne, who discussed United’s offer to take the club back on the street under the Ineos group.
The reports yesterday claimed that United has made two plans, marked “Shipment 21” for men and “Shipment 1” for women. But Brazil said people would only be interested in men’s side.
Speaking this morning, he said: “With the greatest respect, when you talk about Manchester United … Women’s football is becoming more and more important now, but when you talk about Manchester United, he is the men we are talking about, the Premier League When we talk about the mission impossible, not for women.
Aherne opposed, but Brazil continued: “It’s not (priority). I am sorry, people around the world are not bothered. They are true. They are not (disturbed). In the greatest picture, they are not.
“No, the biggest picture is that fans want to see Manchester United in the Premier League provocative. This is the biggest picture. This (women’s football) is not so important compared to the bigger picture. I’m not going to sit here and to lie because it is not. “
As Brazil lifted his voice as if underline his point, Ahern said, “Al stops being like that. It sounds like a right dinosaur. I don’t know why you talk like that.”
Alan Brazil, who shows that he is a dinosaur, is really Talksport, allowing his behavior to be openly allowed.

This is not the first time, honest Brazil has hit the titles for the wrong reasons.
“How’s Bob’s health?”
The day after a night gala in tribute to the late comic Bob Monkhouse, Brazil an interview with television critic Garry Bushell live in the air for the event.
“Gary, how was Bob’s health last night?” Brazil asked.
“Died, Alan” came Bushell’s impressive response.
“Oh, I had heard two editions,” Brazil said, strangely.
Rejected before being restored
Brazil was fired by Talksport in 2004, as it failed to show up for a job one morning at the Cheltenham Festival.
The Scottish was absent for three weeks before he was restored by giving the station “Some Legal Enterprises”.
Suicide Robin Williams
2014 was strongly criticized for having “little sympathy” for actress Robin Williams, who committed suicide after a long battle with depression.
Brazil said at that time: “I think she also has a daughter, what does she feel like this morning?

Warr fell from the studio after being accused by Brazil of being “Jeremy Corbyn’s niece”.
“Women’s football is not my cup of tea”
This is not the first time Brazil has described his contempt for women’s football.
Speaking in an interview with the Daily Mail in October 2020, he said: “I know people call me dinosaur, but I’m happy dinosaur. I don’t see a problem being laddish. There are a lot of people out there who believe I’m too big, too much Men’s, very white.
“If someone asked me if I would watch 90 minutes of women’s football, I would say no. Good luck to women’s players and anyone who wants to watch them play, but it’s not just my cup of tea.
“What bothers me is that most people I talk about to think of the same but they are very afraid to say it.”
