Air Ambulance is a Mexican-registered company that, according to Gold, has a permit in Mexico and Florida. The aircraft had a permit, insured and accredited, he said.
“(There was) a very experienced pilot (and a) very experienced co-pilot,” Gold said. “They know the job, and they often do it. We fly 600 to 700 missions a year. We are very busy, very active and we keep first -class staff.”
