A New Jersey Officials say the woman is facing charges that she bludgeoned her mother to death.
Breanna Beacham, 32, was charged with first-degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday.
Police inside Willingboro were called to a home on Hopewell Lane in the Hawthorne Park neighborhood shortly before 4 p.m. Monday for a report of an assault in progress.

When they arrived at the house, police discovered the body of the suspect’s mother, 57-year-old Kim Beacham-Hanson, a singer-songwriter.
Beacham temporarily stayed at her mother’s house.
She was taken into custody at the house on Monday evening and admitted to the police station Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly pending a detention hearing.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Beacham-Hanson had been beaten to death.
The Burlington County Medical Examiner, after performing an autopsy, determined the death was a homicide caused by multiple blunt force injuries.
