Mayweather Promotions rookie duo Joseph Brown and Jursly Vargas traveled to the East Coast as both remained undefeated with impressive victories at the Tale of Garcia 4 event held on Saturday night, November 30 at ACX1 Studios in Atlantic City. New Jersey.

On the Tale Of Garcia 4 undercard, 18-year-old Joseph Brown began his bout against Carlo Ricci by moving quickly around the ring while working the jab. In the second round, Brown fired the jab and went for a three-punch combination to the body.
Late in the second round, Brown connected with a solid right hand and then closed out the round by hitting Ritchie with a flurry of shots. Early in round 3, Brown stood in the pocket and landed a five-punch combination to the head and body of his opponent.
For the rest of the third and throughout the fourth, Brown controlled the distance, used his jab and landed sharp combinations. At the end of the 4 round contest, Joseph Brown was victorious on all three judges’ cards by a score of 40-36. With the win, Brown improves his record to (4-0, 3 KOs).
Browne’s stablemate Yursi Vargas was competing in the co-main as he faced Claudio Hernandez. In the opening round, Vargas landed a solid left hook and followed it up with a flurry of hard shots. Hernandez responded by connecting with a two-three combination.
For the rest of the first round, Hernandez looked to be on top as he aggressively pressed forward, but Vargas showed that he is capable of fighting off the back foot. During the second round, the fight was very competitive as both boxers managed to land important shots.
The uppercut was a very effective weapon for Vargas in the first two rounds. Late in the third round, Vargas connected with an uppercut that stunned Hernandez as Vargas continued to land a series of hard shots that forced Hernandez to his knees.
Hernandez was able to stand up as the bell rang to officially end the third round. In the fourth round, Vargas connected with a big right hand that threw Hernandez off balance. Vargas proceeded to pound Hernandez with a series of hard shots, forcing the referee to step in and stop the fight.
With the win, 20-year-old Jursly Vargas improved his record to (4-0, 3 KOs). The Mayweather Promotions duo of Jursly Vargas and Joseph Brown closed out the year 2024 on a winning note. Both Vargas and Brown are anxious about getting back into the gym, working on their craft and preparing to be very active in 2025.
