Chilling Google searches lead police to arrest active duty Marine for allegedly killing escort


A active duty Marine was recently arrested after Google searches led investigators in Florida to suspect he murdered a reality TV star and dumped her body in an Alabama pond.

Willie Ellington, 20, who was stationed aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder and possession of child pornography, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said.

Tshey Ronaie Bennett, 26, who last met Ellington at the Sweet Dream Inn, was reported missing Saturday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities identified Bennett as an “escort” but did not elaborate on the purpose of the meeting.

Bennett appeared on the first season of HollyHoodTV’s series “Skrippa Bootcamp,” which premiered earlier this year, according to her Facebook biography.

According to the show’s website, the show revolved around a dozen “aspiring and elite dancers” who lived together while working to perfect their craft.

Because of the “suspicious circumstances” Surrounding her disappearance, investigators considered the case as a possible homicide, authorities said.

Bennett’s car and phone remained at the inn, but the bedding was missing, a spokesman said report from Military.com.

Her body was found on Wednesday in a pond in an abandoned neighborhood Mobile, Alabamathe sheriff’s office said.

The report stated that Ellington attempted and had skipped town by bus Google searches on his phone “regarding ‘can someone scream when being strangled? What is the statistic of prostitute murders being solved…’ and ‘What does a dead body look like in two days?'”

The sheriff’s office did not publicly comment on Bennett’s cause of death Thursday afternoon.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

The District One Medical Examiner’s Office has not released Bennett’s cause of death as of Friday afternoon.

One of Bennett’s friends, Muranda Newson, posted on Facebook noting that Bennett was a mother.

“I hate typing this,” Newson wrote in part. “I hate that that pretty boy is in pain. I really, really hate that someone did this to you, honey, you didn’t deserve this at all.”
