JESSE WATTERS: Let me tell you a little story about Washington. In case you missed it, here’s what happened in the last 24 hours. The 1,500-page spending bill that Congress tried to pass yesterday was just reduced to 116 pages. Congress just made 1,400 pages of spending cuts. I’ve never witnessed that before. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years.

The $15 million to make recycling more accessible. That has disappeared. The twelve biolabs, VAX mandates, gain-of-function, disappeared. The law that places them above the law.

But they did keep the $3 million to inspect the molasses inspectors. Nothing is worse than bad molasses, I can’t take that risk. Big loss for the molasses lobby. Big molasses, not happy. Anyway, it was a big win for Trump and DOGE and this is the best that Congress can do.

When Democrats heard the news that they wouldn’t get a raise and that they wouldn’t be able to opt out of Obamacare, they started chanting, “Hell no!” in their small conference room. Yes, they sing when they don’t get their way, they sing. Adults sing.
