Sweetin, 42, who played Stephanie Tanner, and Barber, 48, who played Kimmy Gibbler on the iconic ’90s San Francisco-based show, recalled the Season 3 episode titled “Just Say No Way,” which was aired March 30, 1990
The plot of the episode found DJ Tanner learning that her high school friend Kevin (Scott Curtis) drank as a minor – although Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) thought she was the one drinking.
In this episode, Candace Cameron Burewho played DJ Tanner wore an all black outfit consisting of a large belt, MC Hammer pants and a black bustier with gold accents and a cropped black jacket. Her hair was obviously big.
Sweetin recalled the hair style Cameron Bure, 48, wore in the episode.
“It was the hair that she would pull to the side and then spray it like that. You’re literally going to spray it so your hair comes out the side of your head,” she said. “I feel like the shoulders are getting a little smaller, but the bangs are getting a lot bigger.”
Barber agreed, replying, “The bangs. The baby has bangs, man. It’s big hair, big outfit. She added that the outfit was chosen by Cameron Bure herself.

“Candice loved this outfit,” Barber shared. “The producers wanted her to wear a dress. She was like, no. This is what I want to wear, this little pantsuit. And she succeeded.”
Both Sweetin and Barber said the outfit “is very stylish.”
Barber added that Cameron Bure “was fantastic”. She said: “It’s very nerve-wracking. And you can see that Janet Jackson’s influence is still strong.
A full house was a major phenomenon in the soap opera world and ran from 1987 to 1995. The show ran for eight seasons. Years later, it was given a new Netflix installment titled Fuller House. The reboot aired on the streaming service from 2016 to 2020.
The original cast of Full House stars Sweetin, Barber alongside other iconic actors such as Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Lori LaughlinJohn Stamos and twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson.
With the exception of the Olsen twins, most of the cast returned for Fuller House.
Cameron Bure, meanwhile, appears in two new Great American Family Christmas movies this holiday season. Her first film, A Less Traveled Christmaspremiered earlier in November, while the second film, Home Sweet Christmaspremieres on Sunday, December 1.
