Top adviser to New York Mayor Eric Adams abruptly resigns amid federal investigation


A top adviser to New York Mayor Eric Adams abruptly resigned Sunday amid a federal investigation into a corruption and bribery charge against Adams.

Adams’ statement reflected his assistant’s friendly tone.
