Swift, 35, recalled her NFL championship experience earlier this year visiting pediatric patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City on Thursday, December 12.
“I don’t mind Brock Purdy”, Swift he joked to one young fan, adding: ‘He put me through a lot last February so I was really stressed for a second. Everything ended well.”
Purdy, 24, is a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, who faced off against the Chiefs for a chance to win the Lombardi Trophy in February. Swift is of course a Chiefs fan as her boyfriend, Travis Kelceis a tight end for the team from Missouri.
Swift and Kelsey, 35, have been dating for more than a year, often supporting each other at concerts and NFL games. While talking to the pediatric patient, she agreed to this Kelce is a first class athlete.

“I like Travis now,” gushed the fan.
Swift emphatically replied, “Yeah, me too! That’s an absolute yes to that,” before asking if Kelce was the kid’s “favorite player.”
“Yes, he and Patrick (Mahomes)” the fan responded, referring to the Chiefs quarterback.
“Good answer,” quipped Swift. “You handle it.”
Swift met tons of fans (and their equally Swifty parents) on Thursday, signing copies of her official Eras Tour Book and poses for selfies. At one point, she jokingly held up a Chiefs rally towel that read, “Go Taylor’s boyfriend.”

Swift wasn’t really a football fan until she started dating Kelce — and now she’s making plays. (None of the pop star’s plays are yet in the Chiefs’ rotation.)

At every Chiefs game Swift attended, fan footage captured her cheering on Kelce and his teammates. At the Super Bowl in February, she brought an A-list team, incl Blake Lively, Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice and more to support Team Missouri.
But Purdy wasn’t nervous about Swift supporting the opposition.
“If it comes down to it, Brock, and it’s late in the fourth quarter, are you ready to disappoint Taylor Swift?” a sports commentator asked Purdy before the big game.
With a smile, Purdy replied, “Yeah, I’ll leave it at that.”
Purdy almost got his wish when Super Bowl LVIII went down to the wire — and overtime. In the end, the Chiefs pulled out a 25-22 victory. Swift celebrates with Kelce on the court, punctuating the moment with sweet side kiss.
