Conservative group names ‘woke radical leftists’ it wants fired by DOJ under Pam Bondi

A conservative research group has sent a letter to President Trump’s nominee for attorney general Pam Bondi She calls for her to fire several Department of Justice (DOJ) employees who she says are “woke radical leftists and donors” who cannot be trusted to carry out Trump’s agenda.

In a letter obtained by Fox News Digital, the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) wrote to Bondi urging her to fire the individuals currently working for the Voting Section of the agency’s Civil Rights Division, claiming they pushed transgender issues, worked for George. Organizations linked to Soros and donated to radical left politicians and groups. The Voting Division is charged with enforcing federal laws that protect voting rights.

“These people are woke up radically leftists and donors who have no place in the Justice Department,” the group wrote in the letter signed by AAF President Thomas Jones. “To restore the American people’s confidence in election integrity and a neutral civil service, they must be fired and replaced with America-first lawyers who will implement the agenda the American people voted for in November.”

The letter, which speaks out against the ‘deep state’ that is terrorizing the country and ‘threatens democracy itself’, was also addressed to Harmett Dhillon, That of President-elect Trump candidate for Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights. Bondi is the former attorney general of Florida.

The letter zeroes in on DOJ employees — Janie Sitton, Catherine Meza, Daniel Freeman, John “Bert” Russ IV and Dana Paikowsky — and attempts to argue why they are not fit to work at the agency. AAF promises to share more information about ‘problematic personnel’ in the future.

Sitton, the group says, is being singled out for her promotion of the transgender agenda and her donations to left-wing politicians.

In 2000, while working for the DOJ, Sitton wrote an article calling for the adoption of a new legal system deemed “transgender jurisprudence” and declaring the need to challenge the fundamental known “assumptions and constructs upon which our society and laws are based’ to be ‘reconsidered’. based.”

Sitton even went against common traditions, such as identifying a newborn baby as a boy or a girl based on the child’s gender, arguing that society has been wrong to give or assume a gender for babies, says the AAF.

WHO IS PAM BONDI, TRUMP’S NEW CHOICE FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL?

In addition to donating to liberal politiciansPaikowsky’s LinkedIn shows that she worked as a policy officer for the Open Society Foundations, an organization founded for the billionaire financier.

Shortly after graduating from Harvard Law School, Paikowsky went on to work for the Campaign Legal Center (CLC) as a fellow for the Equal Justice Works program, while also working as a legal intern for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights. According to the AAF, the CLC has received significant funding from Soros in recent years.

A 2019 law article she wrote for the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review suggested a comprehensive framework to turn “prisons into polling places” and described numerous examples from local elections across the country, including races for local district attorneys, where a small number of the incarcerated voters could have changed the election results, according to the AAF.

The group also blasts Meza, who is an attorney with the Voting Division, for supporting gun control while she was chief counsel for the NAACP and claims she accused people of not wearing masks or observing social distancing rules as a form of voter intimidation in the country. 2020.

Russ was on the list because he was an attorney for the DOJ, which filed a complaint against Georgia’s election integrity initiatives in 2021. The complaint accused the state of having racist intentions by banning unsolicited absentee ballots from being sent to voters, requiring voter identification and banning the possible bribery of voters with food and drinks at polling places.

Fox News Digital reached out to the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division for comment but did not immediately receive a response. Fox News Digital also asked the agency if each of the people named in the letter would respond.

It is not the first time that the AAF has tried to influence the composition of the federal government under Trump. The group last week compiled a list of “woke” senior officers they want Pete Hegseth fired if he is confirmed to lead the Pentagon.
