Queen Camilla’s son addresses ‘conspiracy theories’ about her health

The son of Queen Camilla, Thomas Parker Bowles dismissed rumors about his mother’s health while she was recovering from pneumonia.

The 49-year-old food writer and restaurant critic shared an update on the 77-year-old royal’s condition during a recent appearance on “The Go To Food Podcast.”

‘Most importantly, how is your mother? Because she was a little sick. Will she make a full recovery from this crazy season?’ asked host Freddy Clode at the start of the episode, which was uploaded on Sunday.

“I think so, yeah, since these things are going around – these bugs – and there’s no big conspiracy theory or anything,” Parker Bowles replied.

He said that Camilla became ill after coming to see her husband King Charles during their royal tour of Australia and Samoa in October.

“She was doing the tour and she got some horrible bug. And before she got better, she was working too hard, as she usually does,” Parker Bowles said.

“But anyway, touch wood, everything will be fine,” he added, using the British version of the American expression “knock on wood.”

‘Will she be able to enjoy the run-up to Christmas?’ Clode asked.

“She’s tough,” Parker Bowles replied.
