One day after Jay-Z was named in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sexual assault case, the music mogul filed a motion to dismiss the rape case, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, also asked the court to deny the plaintiff’s request to proceed anonymously. The rapper was accused of raping a minor Sean “Diddy” Combs at an MTV VMA afterparty in 2000, documents say.
In his motion to dismiss, Jay-Z accused Texas-based attorney Tony Buzzbee of pursuing a “vast extortion saga – one whose purpose is lowbrow and measured in dollars.”

The lawsuit, initially filed in October, was refiled on Sunday New York by an anonymous accuser who claims Jay-Z “raped” her while Combs and “Celebrity B” watched.
Representatives for Jay-Z did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
