Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing an ambitious transfer move Chelsea star Cole Palmer after his impressive form in the Premier League.

The England international has 11 goals and six assists in 15 Premier League games so far this season, continuing on from the world-class form he showed last season.

Palmer looks to be a perfect fit for this Real Madrid squad as they look to build around some of the best young players in the world such as Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Junior and Edric.

According to TranscriptsLos Blancos captain Florentino Perez rates Palmer highly and is keen on a potential deal, although it remains to be seen whether there is a realistic price for the Blues to negotiate.

Chelsea star says YES to surprise transfer!

Chelsea certainly should be building around Palmer for the long term if they want to return to their best as a force in English and European football again.

Chelsea have lost star names to Real Madrid a few times…

It remains to be seen if CFC will let Palmer go anytime soon after he’s committed to a long-term contract, but we’ve seen them sell star names to Madrid before.

Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard have both swapped Stamford Bridge for the Bernabeu in recent years, so there may be a chance we could see Palmer make a similar move.

One thing is for sure – Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca will need to build on this strong start he made in west London if he is to convince someone like Palmer to spend his peak years with this club.

For now, Chelsea’s job is to build for the future, but Maresca is arguably a little ahead of schedule as he has this team closing in on Liverpool in the Premier League title race.

It will be vital for Chelsea to return to winning major trophies soon, otherwise a potential Ballon d’Or winner like Palmer will no doubt be tempted to try his luck at Real Madrid or another major European giant.
